Learn it. Build it. Fly it.

Prepare young scientists for the future.

Not three separate courses stitched together — a single, integrated builder experience. Students learn how the brain works, build software with AI coding agents, and wire real hardware, then bring it all together to fly a drone or drive a robotic arm with nothing but focus.

What Will Your Campers Learn

Understand our brainwaves

Observe and experience with real EEG with a NeuroSky headset and a dedicated App.

Code with AI and EEG

Build real full-stack software with AI coding agents and neuroscience library from day one.

Build a robotic arm, take it home

Assemble and a real robotic arm with brain control, then bring it home.

Finish a mini research project

Design and complete a capstone of your own — including the optional brain-controlled drone challenge.

Everything Students Build with

Sketch of the NeuroSky MindWave Mobile 2 headset

NeuroSky MindWave Mobile 2

Single dry-sensor EEG headset — forehead pad plus ear clip, no gel and no pairing dance. Streams attention, relaxation, power bands, and raw EEG over Bluetooth.

Sketch of the 4-DOF robotic arm kit

4-DOF Robotic Arm Kit

UNO-based arm with four servos, a Bluetooth control module, acrylic frame, and every tool needed to assemble it from scratch.

Sketch of the central control unit board

Central Control Unit

A compact board that already speaks the headset's protocol — it scans, connects, and control all devices. Connect with code or NSBuild app to use it as a brain controller.

NSBuilder app icon

NSBuilder App

NeuroSky's own classroom Android app: connect the headset, monitor live signal, experiment sessions, and drive brain-controlled devices from one place.

Sketch of the brain-controlled drone

Brain-controlled Drone

A ball-caged, coaxial-rotor flyer built to take a bump without falling out of the sky — showcased in CES and now our capstone brain-control project.

Sketch of the LED / GPIO experiment breadboard

STEM Experiment Kit

Breadboard, LEDs, wires, and other accessories for the first hands-on wiring exercise — the fastest way to see a brain signal move something physical.

In the classroom

Every station gets a builder camp kit, an optional tablet, — students brings their own laptop to code. Connect the headset, pull up live data, and start building within minutes of sitting down. We build a standard hardware and software combination, no setup drama.

The Camp at a Glance

One Proven Arc, Three Ways to Run

Neuroscience, AI coding, and robotics taught as one connected story. Bring in our ready-made curriculum, build your own lessons on our hardware and software, or work with one of our content partners — the example schedule below shows how the pieces fit together.

Option 1

Use our ready-made curriculum

Four modules covering neuroscience, AI coding, and robotics, built for grades 8–12 and ready to teach. Run the flexible pace over 2–4 days and adapt the content to your group.

Option 2

Build your own courses

Use Builder Camp hardware and software freely in your own lessons and labs. Source code and the app user manual are available to help your team design around the kit.

Option 3

Work with a camp partner

Prestigoius partners such as TERC and iWISE offer professional courses for different ages and formats, for-fee or non-profit. The Builder Camp kit is compatible with their content too.

Example Roadmap

Option 1, run as a 3-day session
Day 1Meet Your Brainwaves
  • Intro to neuroscience1 hr
  • First impression (headset)1 hr
  • Understanding EEG2 hr
  • Mini brain-control project1 hr
Day 2Code It, Build It
  • EEG data & AI coding Own device2 hr
  • Intro to robotics2 hr
  • Brain-control arm build2.5 hr
Day 3Design, Compete, Present
  • Drone (optional)1 hr
  • Group project discussion2 hr
  • Competition & presentation4 hr
Course material provided for every module, except AI coding — which runs in student's own laptop/dev environment. Same 4 modules also compress or stretch longer.

Make your certification

NeuroSky is motivated to work with our customer to develop a certificated camp that records what the students have learned, experimented and built during the camp and offer an official endorsed copy to the students. Contact us to discuss how we can make such certification possible. NeuroSky will review the course content for each customer (middle and large group) and provide feedback.
